Last night, there were demonstrations at the University of Tehran dormitory and in the surrounding areas. Regarding Sheikh Alireza Arafi, of course, this position was not only more prominent but also deeper, and many pillars of the system were more coordinated with him.

What was the difference between the 1979 Revolution model and Mohammad Reza Pahlavi’s government?
Mohsen Sazegara: There were two main disputes with the Shah; they said he was an American puppet and that he did not implement Islamic jurisprudential rulings.
Mohsen Sazegara: Mr. Khomeini proposed a system in which a person called the “Supreme Jurist (Velayat-e Faqih)” has “god-like powers.”
I came to the conclusion that the problems of the Islamic Republic lie in clerical Islam (jurisprudential Islam).
