Yesterday, the first UN Security Council meeting on post-war Iraq was held. Representatives from the Iraqi Governing Council also participated. The Security Council recognized the Iraqi Governing Council, and Kofi Annan, the UN Secretary-General, said that the most important task is the rapid transfer of Iraq's administration to the Iraqi people.
