Although the scope of this case extended beyond parliament, the main political pressure was focused on the members of the sixth parliament.

Shahram Jazayeri's influence in parliament, especially in the Economic Commission, went so far that he received a special access card and also served as an advisor to that commission.

Cases like Shahram Jazayeri, Babak Zanjani, Fazel Khodadad, and Mahafarid Amir Khosravi remind us of one reality: major corruptions are usually not the product of one individual's actions; rather, they are formed in the context of weak oversight, legal gaps, and the complicity or misconduct of some power-holders and officials.

Therefore, fighting corruption, above all, requires reforming structures, transparency, and drying up the roots of corruption within government institutions.
