Who is Abdollah Abdi?

I am Abdollah Abdi, born on August 1, 1985, the director and founder of the independent media outlet Abdi Media. In 2005, at the age of twenty, I started my professional career in radio.

I worked as an informatics officer for the conversation radio network before its establishment, and at the same time, I was the editor of a program called "Shahr Electronic." This program was considered one of the first information and communication technology programs in IRIB.

I am from a generation that also experienced analog radio. Due to my activity in talk radio and managing the website and publishing programs for the first time in the history of IRIB, the idea of pursuing Internet radio quickly came to my mind.

As the first person in radio, I participated in the working groups for the formation of Internet radio, which resulted in the creation of Internet radio, which we know today as "Iran Seda." However, I was only present in its structural meetings and had no role in its establishment or launch.

After some time, I became an advisor to the manager of Tejarat Radio, which was later renamed Economy Radio. At the same time, I continued radio productions and programming, and until 2010, I returned to programming and edited a live program called “Studio Bours” every day for 4 years.

In 2011, I started my career in television and directed and produced the first series of TV programs called "Servat Afarinan," the first television program that was a vehicle for turning ideas and inventions into wealth.

During these years, I was also a media consultant in various series and produced hundreds of other programs in the field of economy and technology on radio and television.

A little later, in 2015, I produced and directed a program called "Fanavaran Danesh" for the channel 4, which introduced Iran's science and technology parks.

In 2018, I produced and directed a program called "Safiran," which featured interviews with the ambassadors of other countries in Iran inside their embassies.

During my career, I cooperated with various radio networks, including Radio Iran, Radio Javan, Radio Farhang, Radio Namayesh, Radio Tehran, and Radio Goftogo, and produced several programs for these networks.

I also cooperated with channels one, two, three, four, five, Khabar, Mostanad, and Amoozesh, producing different programs for them.

As I said, most of my professional life has been spent in radio and television, and my experience is mostly in the field of visual and audio productions.

Normally, I learned a lot during this time, and I used the result of my years of experience in Abdi Media to address what I saw we were relatively oblivious to.

I started Abdi Media in 2019. At first, it was just a Telegram channel where I posted videos of my interviews and programs. Little by little, my attention was also drawn to the publication of news, and the follow-up of news and facts is the concern of a person who is thirsty for facts, which follow the history and the events of the day next to it.

The number of followers increased day by day until today, due to the high volume of content production, I decided to provide an independent site to express the facts.

From my point of view, the site is a place of information, and this simple reporter writes for the love of Iran and the awareness of its people. I believe that the only way to salvation is honesty and the knowledge that an informed nation will build a country where the living space is not limited to any opinion, thinking, or tendency.

Here, I am committed to not letting the truth be hidden as an independent journalist. I am committed to informing the public about the truth.

The destination is far, the road is quite uneven, and I am a novice.
