 At the invitation of the Speaker of the Indian Lower House – which has 542 members – we set off for India today at the head of a 42-strong delegation from the parliament, the government, the army and the broadcaster. At half past nine in the morning, we flew from Tehran on a Shahin with a two-jet escort (due to the threat of war), one and a half hours late. The reason for the delay was a lack of coordination between the forces, the staff and the airport. It turned out the plane's captain was barred from leaving the country; what a mess!

Mr Mohammad Mohammadi Reyshahrī consulted on the start of Mr Saadiq Qotbzadeh's trial. The Imam said it should be concluded sooner rather than later. Someone reported that they had uncovered a network intending to spend money to secure Qotbzadeh's release; I introduced the individual to Mr Reyshahrī for him to follow up.

At the Leader's office, there was a consultative meeting to find a solution to the IAEA Board of Governors' resolution, with the same individuals as in the previous meetings. The possibility of accepting the resolution or completely rejecting it was discussed, and a middle-ground solution was chosen: to protest the resolution, cooperate within the limits of the NPT, and continue negotiations.

Up to 5-6 levels down, our successors in the IRGC and the army have been designated; they {the Americans} cannot dismantle the structure.
