This is Schultz's first visit to Kyiv in the past two and a half years.

According to the DPA news agency, Chancellor Scholz has traveled to Ukraine to meet with President Zelensky.

This is Scholz's first visit to Kyiv in the past two and a half years. The last time the German Chancellor visited Ukraine was in June 2022, alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.

Chancellor Scholz stated that he will meet with Zelensky and inform him of the decision to send additional weapons to Kyiv, totaling 6 million euros, in December.
