Hashemi's speech and the welcome speech of Abbas Vaez Tabasi, which Hashemi remembers in detail, despite the other consultations and political exchanges mentioned in his memoirs, are very thought-provoking.

Continued visits to the belongings, buildings, and works of Astan Quds.

In today's newspaper report, the meeting of Mashhad city officials with Hashemi and Khamenei's statement of opposition to the subway plan in Mashhad is the first time that it is publicly heard that they turned to Hashemi to solve it and change Khamenei's opinion.

Operation of the water transfer project from Zarineh Rood to Tabriz with the presence of President Khatami.

Continuation of negotiations and two-person political consultations with Vaez Tabasi.

Seyyed Kazem Esadi Khansari's meeting with the diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Astmidad to solve the problem he encountered in security inquiries is interesting and has historical points that Hashemi tried to write some threads about.

At ten o'clock in the morning, I went to Razavi University to give a speech at the first meeting of Imam's year programs. Fifteen meetings are scheduled to be held by the end of the year. It was a magnificent meeting and a large number of people were using loudspeakers outside the university and there was a very tight crowd inside the hall.

The feeling of lack of management has created such a situation; It was an exaggeration and it was not easy to bear the praises. For an hour, I talked about the Imam and the factors that make up his personality and the important events from the constitution until the Islamic revolution, and the important works of the revolution.

From there we went to visit. The building under the courtyard of Razavi Mosque is huge. 60,000 square meters of building with a height of ten meters underground, which can be two floors of parking. There, it is built with a height of 10 meters, with a two-meter floor, and three floors of graves.

In the evening, Mr. Engineer [Syed Ismail] Mofidi, the head of the city council, and [Syed Mohsen] Shushtri, the head of the urban train [tram] project of Mashhad, and Mohsen Fafad, [from the relatives] came. They expressed their concern about the leadership's opposition to the city train plan, which caused its credit to be suspended by the program [and budget] organization, and requested me to solve the problem of the plan. It has been approved and started during my administration.

[Mr. Mofidi] gave a report on the plan to transfer water from Zayandehroud to Yazd, which will be put into operation soon; We started this project with the special appropriations of the presidency and its cost is close to 50 billion tomans and it is an important work.

Today, the operation of the huge water transfer project from Zarinerood to Tabriz started with the presence of Mr. Khatami, [President]; It was one of the projects that I took care of and supported that could not be implemented without special support. We also discussed this with Mr. Tabasi. They praised my speech today and praised it.

Mr. [Sayed Kazem Asadi] Khansari came from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He explained about the problem that arose in his case. He thinks, that because of taking Mr. [Ebrahim] Asgharzadeh to Libya during his embassy and praising him in front of [Moammar] Gaddafi, [the Libyan leader] and arranging a lecture for him at Al Fatih University in Libya and then praising Asgharzadeh at Mashhad University and criticizing Gaddafi. President of the time, this caused the matter to remain in his file in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IRGC and prevented him from handing over important responsibilities.

He asked me to help solve the problem. Some criticized the current management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and said that he told them in the meeting of the Council of Deputies that, contrary to the claim, there has been no positive change in the relations with the Arab countries, except in the case of Saudi Arabia, which is also the work of the previous government and Mr. Hashemi personally.

In today's news, the continuation of the crisis in Dagestan, the explosion of a building block in Moscow, and the death and injury of dozens of people in retaliation for Moscow's attack on Chechnya, as well as the political problem of [Boris] Yeltsin, [President of Russia] with the financial corruption of him and his family. In the Western media, his phone call to [Bill] Clinton, [President of the United States], in this regard, and asking for help to solve the problem is important.
