In the following, I will repeat the notes to respect privacy that I discussed in different notes:

When you allow any Iranian messenger and application, both banking and non-banking, and Iranian apps in general, to access text messages (sms), you are actually allowing them to view, send, read, and generally manage SMS messages.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of people do not pay attention to not allowing Iranian or even foreign apps, and that is what happened.

Therefore, please be more careful, with the permission you give, the mentioned apps can send text messages instead of you in the cases they want, and may even reply instead of you or delete them from your phone screen; without you being informed.

Worse, all this can be used against you in judicial, security and intelligence authorities, and you have no access to prove non-interference. Unless the matter is so important that their information devices are burning for you, or discovering the truth is more important for them to confirm with the technical tools at their disposal that sending and receiving from your phone has not been done.

You can block or cancel access to text messages on your phone, or reinstall all programs and not allow access to text messages. But all this is if the special officials who have access to the text messages do not want to take action on your behalf for any reason.

You may be able to follow up and file a complaint through the judiciary, but in the end, a convincing answer will not be sent to the judicial authority by the operator and even the infrastructure communication company, because the operators often do not have access to the content of the SMS.

Allowing access to contacts as well as phone gallery makes the situation more complicated than it is.

In the mobile phones of different banks and also in apps like Up and Top and the like, sometimes the second password of the text message sent to you for payment will ask you for permission to read that password according to the example I am attaching. And by default, the word "permission" is cleverly written in bold so that you can psychologically allow it sooner.

Never do such a thing and immediately enter the number yourself in the corresponding box.

Abdollah Abdi
