I went to the presidential office at nine in the morning. Before forming the reconstruction council, we discussed the issue of information concentration and reached an understanding on the issues. In the council, with the presence of the housing minister, we approved some issues regarding the urban development policy, and with the presence of the oil and energy ministers, the power and energy, oil, gas, and petrochemicals supply policy was approved.

[Mr. Gholamreza Aghazadeh] The Minister of Oil informed that the initial opinion of the Dutch seismic company is based on the fact that the huge source of gas in the waters adjacent to Qatar extends to about twenty-five kilometers in Iranian waters, and if this opinion is proven, about three trillion will be added to Iran's exposed gas reserves. After lunch and prayer, I went to my office. I rested and read reports and did office work. Mrs. Motahari came to the parliament with Efat and Fati.

We left for Qom. We arrived at Ayatollah Montazeri's house at six o'clock. Mr. Mousavi Ardabili and Mr. Ahmad Agha and the Prime Minister also arrived. Mr. Khamenei did not come because of boredom. We discussed the Imam's letter to Gorbachev and the current issues of the country until nine o'clock at night. Mr. Montazeri was fine. On the way back, Mr. Mousavi Ardabili got into my car. I reached my office around eleven at night. I slept in the parliament at night. To fast, I told the guards to wake me up at five in the morning.
