The anniversary of Mustafa Tajzadeh's arrest

My acquaintance with Mr. Tajzadeh dates back to the winter of 1978. I have been familiar with his views and activities.

Tajzadeh has several characteristics that make me regret why someone like him is in prison and the country is not benefiting from his thoughts and ideas.

We are aware of Tajzadeh's financial and ethical integrity. His approach to political rivals is also noteworthy. He refrains from using unethical language.

Tajzadeh has an active and organized mind and is precise in presenting his ideas, which stems from his high intelligence. Even in economic discussions, despite his focus on politics, he comments accurately.

Tajzadeh is an eloquent speaker and, most importantly, analyzes topics beyond party lines, which is his strength. The calls he makes from prison also reflect this approach and are energizing.

Tajzadeh's words and actions are consistent, but in practice and execution, they differ. This issue may seem minor but is significant.

Last year, we were his guests for Iftar. While Mostafa was eager for political discussions, he suddenly left the discussions and went to wash the dishes. We said this is an example of matching ideas with actions and shows his belief in equal rights.

In 2009, a necessity arose, and we went to the house of a reformist friend. His wife came, and it was necessary to make a call with her mobile phone. He asked his wife to bring the mobile! This happened two more times.

We thought to ourselves, look at Mostafa and his interaction with women and compare. He has a deep belief in gender equality. Additionally, he has a heartfelt belief in diversity.
