The text of Saeed Hajjarian's message, which was read at the Iran Man club on the anniversary of Mustafa Tajzadeh's arrest

It was an old tradition among Shiites to form a brotherhood bond on Eid al-Ghadir. Two people with no familial ties would recite a sermon and be considered brothers for life, always supporting each other. This practice extended to women, who would become sisters. This was a mechanism to strengthen the community and promote kindness among Shiites.

I believe that Seyyed Mostafa Tajzadeh, with his good nature, has unintentionally made many people from various groups his brothers without any formal bond. It's impossible to spend a few sessions with Mostafa and not be captivated by his virtues. I have seen him gradually win over even his opponents during discussions. Friends were naturally drawn to him. It astonishes me that such a kind and accomplished person has been imprisoned for seven years for expressing his opinions and criticism, with an additional eight years added, despite doctors recommending medical leave.

Hafez has aptly said:
"You are a person of virtue and knowledge, and that is your only fault."

Reflecting back, after his imprisonment, Tajzadeh continued to be active in politics with clean and polite language, criticizing leadership as part of his intellectual-political project. Have the authorities considered how the path they blocked by arresting Tajzadeh has been reopened? Society has raised its voice as if constantly whispering, "In the name of God, if you are our rival!"

Most reformists have so far maintained decorum, directing their criticisms at procedures, laws, ministers, and at most, the president. One must ask if the system expects them to go further and target the primary instigator.

Hafez also said:
"It is not advisable for secrets to be revealed,
Otherwise, there is no news in the assembly of the wise that is not known."

In conclusion, I hope the tradition of imprisonment as a remedy, a legacy of the previous regime, will end, and we will witness the freedom of all dear ones in captivity.
