The existence of a crisis in pension funds has become a global issue, but this problem is much more critical in our country due to unique conditions that other countries either do not face or are less affected by. Addressing the issue of the crisis in the country's pension funds is a priority not only because of the current situation, but also because there is no clear and positive outlook for overcoming their problems in the future.

Although the 14th government has, for the first time, included necessary and continuous payments – such as the adjustment of pensions or the demands of wheat farmers – in the budget tables, the guarantee for such actions depends on the realization of government revenues, which are shrouded in uncertainty due to economic conditions, inflation expectations, and budgetary history. In the second half of this year, the estimated costs of the Social Security Organization are 90 trillion Tomans, with 70% of this amount being allocated to pension payments.
