Full text of the newspaper:

[Mr. Ahmed Moshad], the ambassador of Afghanistan came.  I asked many questions about the state of the country.  Some of the answers were diplomatic. He said, the hope of Afghan people is still in Iran.  They complain about Pakistan's behavior. He said, no action has been taken to disarm.

Mr. Sheikh Gudrat Alikhani, [Boyin Zahra's representative] came.  He said, the difference between the two Khordadis and even in the chairmanship of the parliament is big. Mr. [Mahdi] Karroubi, [the speaker of the parliament], is angry with the action of the research center [of the Islamic Shura] and Mr. [Mohsen] Mirdamadi, [the head of the national security and foreign policy commission of the parliament] regarding the opinion poll [regarding negotiations and relations with America].  Regarding the government's bills, he has been pessimistic about Mr. [Syed Abdul Wahid] Mousavilari, [the country's minister] and argued with him.  Some people are trying to force Mr. Khatami [President] to resign if he rejects the bills;  But Mr. Karroubi and others consider it dangerous and the cause of the complete defeat of Khordad II.  Together, they have understood that the system is strong and does not back down under pressure, and may attack the extremists.  He predicts that two bills will be approved in the parliament, and some are hoping for the expediency of the system.

Mr. [Khosro] Arouj, one of the IRGC commanders who is responsible for the training of Hezbollah in Lebanon, came. He gave a full report of their situation. He said that some of the five thousand Hezbollah forces, fighting men, and some of the military equipment they took from Iran have been worn out due to lack of care.  If Israel decides to start a serious war, a problem can arise.  He told about the situation of the training camp on the border of Syria;  20 square kilometers of wooded heights are without buildings.  His term is over and he wants to stay again. He said, here the army commanders do not have the asceticism and contentment they used to have.

On the evening of the wedding of [Mrs. Munira], the daughter of Mr. Tawfiqi [Far], I was one of the bodyguards.  As before, he criticized the government and the parliament and said that the Guardian Council rejected the plan to amend the law of councils with many objections and objected to some of the objections.  I said, it is probably to counter the policy of the second Khradadis, who want to make the councils stronger and wider, so that they can be used as a base for their activities if they are limited in the parliament.

The United States has shown a setback regarding [the attack on] Iraq and has given a deadline of one month to hand over the weapons of mass destruction and 50 days to announce the technical, chemical and microbial facilities.  In today's parliamentary elections in Turkey, the Islamic Party of Justice [and Development] is in the lead.
