Yesterday and last night, we had good snow and rain in many cities of the country, including Tehran, mostly snow.  I was at home all day;  By studying and resting.
Fati, [Chairman of Special Diseases Foundation], presented the photo album of his trip to Kuwait and meeting with the leaders of that country.  An earthquake with a magnitude of 1.5 on the Richter scale shook the northeast of Hormozgan province. I read a book about Ruba Rashidi [Tabriz] and the important actions of Khwaja Rashid al-Din Fazlullah in Iran during the time of the Mongols.
North Korea has officially said that if America starts a conflict with that country, it will attack American centers all over the world and it has this power and can even hit American soil with a missile.  [George Tenet], the head of the CIA, said this in the meeting of the US Senate.
[Hans] Blix, [Chief of UN Weapons Inspectors] and [Mohammed] ElBaradei, [Chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency], today gave their report on the inspection of Iraq to the Security Council and did not have any more important news than the previous report.  They called the information provided by the United States and the satellite photos and audio tapes of Iraqi officers insufficient and uncertain and added that by continuing the inspections, the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq - if any - can be destroyed.  America and England objected to this report and said that they are fulfilling their duties, but Russia, China, France, Syria, etc. welcomed it and demanded to continue the investigation.  In the coming days, the result of this report will be clear.
Moments before the start of the [United Nations] Security Council meeting, the Iraqi government announced that it has banned the production of any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq by issuing a decree.  But America immediately announced that this decision is late and does not benefit Iraq.  The NATO meeting, which was supposed to continue the discussion on aid to Turkey, was canceled and postponed to next Monday.
A group of UN inspectors, who are responsible for combating arbitrary arrests, have come to Iran after a seven-year hiatus, and foreign media have provocative statements about their program.
