Until 9:30 in the morning, I studied. Then Mr. Abdollah Jasbi came and brought a plan for the Islamic Azad University - which I had previously proposed - but it was not interesting, and it was decided - with the explanations I gave - that he should rewrite it.

At 10 o'clock, I went to the Regulations Committee to amend the objections of the Guardian Council. In the afternoon, I participated in a meeting of representatives who were members or supporters of the Republican Party and gave a speech about the war, the current situation on the fronts, and future plans.

In the evening, Yaser, Mehdi, and Effat came to the Majlis to be with me; it was very good, because I was alone and had back pain, and since we have a meeting tomorrow, I didn't want to go home. In my office, due to the limitations, they are not having a good time.

At night, we had a private meeting with the President and talked for an hour or two about the party, the members of the government, and other matters. It was decided that he - who is the Secretary-General of the party - should spend more time on the party and appoint people who are one hundred percent reliable to direct the affairs. In the evening, Mr. Abbas Honardoust from the Ministry of Oil came and informed me that we have sold as much oil as possible for export, and we cannot sell more in the next two or three months, despite the high demand for oil purchases. He claims that at present, we do not have the capacity to produce more than three million barrels per day. At night, I slept in the Majlis.
