I was at home. They informed that the members of Tehran's Mosla Council were arrested for occupying a mosque near Mosla. I spoke with Mr. [Mousavi] Ardabili [President of the Supreme Court] and Mr. Mir Emadi [General Prosecutor of Tehran] repeatedly. The reason for their action is the claim that the mosque is unreal and that it was a stall for abuse and that its property belongs to the municipality, which could not be endowed. Finally, it was decided that they would be released at night by posting bail, except for one person.
Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Hashemian came in the afternoon. He was in Mecca and Spain. In the evening, Ahmad Agha came and we discussed the Imam's order regarding the quality of the selection of ministers. Mr. [Mohammadi] Ray Shahri [Minister of Information] came and there was a discussion about finding the perpetrators of spreading a leaflet signed by "a group of parliament members" against Ayatollah Khamenei, and also about retaliating against [Iraqi airstrikes on Khark Island].
Mr. Sadat and the wives of a group of prisoners who accompanied [Mohammed Javad] Tandgovian, the Minister of Oil, came and pleaded for action to rescue the prisoners. They brought the reports and I read them. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs discussed the recommendations that may be given to Mr. Gaddafi in his upcoming trip to the Soviet Union. I slept late. I had a lot of backlog work.
