Decisions related to Khark and the quality of dealing with the Americans, regarding the announcement of William's execution, I spoke with a number of hostages of the Islamic Jihad Organization in Lebanon. I also discussed with the Prime Minister Mr. [Mirhossein Mousavi] regarding the consultation about the ministers according to the Imam's new order.

I went to Tehran University to perform Friday prayers and talked about the need for volunteers to go to war - basically for future decisive operations and apparently because of the special conditions of the Persian Gulf region. Mr. [Hossein] Mahdian came in the evening. He appealed against Mr. Burqai about the problems of the [Islamic culture] publishing house. Before the victory of the revolution, a small passage was built on Gorgan Street at the corner of Saadi Street with the partnership of the late Akhwan Farshchi, which was owned by Mr. Akhwan Bushed and half of it belonged to me. Mr. Mahdian brought the rent.

On the night of brotherhood, relatives and friends came. Mohsen Hashemian announced the discovery of large amounts of copper ore - four times the previous one - in the Sarchesmeh mine and its self-sufficiency by selling copper abroad, and complained to the Minister of Mines [and Metals].
