Mr. Morteza Nabavi came. He is studying for a master's degree in political science at Islamic Azad University. We conducted an interview about Iran's foreign policy in three periods: the war, reconstruction, and the current period.

Mr. Gholamreza Aghazadeh, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization, came. He said that three days ago, due to excessive pressure and stress, he suffered a drop in blood pressure, dizziness, and loss of balance. He fell to the ground and was taken to the hospital, and they have diagnosed a possible mild cerebral stroke with nervous shock; his condition is still not favorable.

He said that Mr. Khatami, the President, has given the responsibility for political and technical nuclear affairs to Mr. Hassan Rouhani, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, and in practice the organization has had no role in the negotiations, and he has written a letter to the Leadership and opposed the postponement of gas supply, injection, and the suspension of work. The Leadership has replied that they have agreed only to a delay in the injection of uranium gas and have told him not to stop anything else, but Mr. Rouhani wants more than this. He said that the International Atomic Energy Agency claims that some activities have not been declared. Mr. Rouhani had also previously said that despite his disagreement, Mr. Khatami had written an order for authority by hand and given it to him.

Today the city of Baghdad was in a semi-war state. Seven massive explosions occurred, resulting in the deaths of about 50 people and the wounding of about 280 people; they were mainly suicide attacks with cars carrying explosives. One of them was at the Red Cross headquarters, and most of them were at police centers. America says most of them were the work of foreign terrorists who have come to Iraq. They also arrested one person before the operation and say he is Syrian. Ansar al-Islam, Al-Qaeda, and the Ba'athists are accused.

In Gaza, the clashes are intense. Israel has closed the Rafah crossing, and movement between Egypt and Gaza has been cut off. Hezbollah of Lebanon has attacked three Israeli military personnel in retaliation for Israeli aircraft's aggression against Lebanon.

In Afghanistan, insecurity has intensified, and the difference between the United Front of the North and Hamid Karzai, the head of the interim government, has also peaked. A group of Al-Qaeda, Taliban, and Afghan forces have been killed in the south.

The massive fire in the forests of California has caused the death of 14 people and the displacement of thousands of families. A state of emergency has been declared.

Since last night until now, we have had wind, rain, and thunder and lightning.
