I reached the parliament at half past seven in the morning. I immediately went to the public meeting. I stayed in the meeting until quarter past ten. Mr. [Abbas] Abbasi came to represent Bandar Abbas. He said about the conflict with the governor and Imam Juma. I decided to invite them to negotiate and find a solution. Mr. [Mohammed Javad] Irvani [Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance] came. He explained about the loan to India and the purchase of iron ore and asked for permission to take action. Mr. [Mustafa] Taherizadeh [Flavorjan representative and member of the Majlis Industries and Mines Commission] came. He spoke about the steel industry and emphasized the necessity of its development and cooperation with the Soviet Union.

I asked the Imam's house about the Imam's condition; They said it was satisfactory. In the evening, Mr. Tabatabai, the head of our embassy in Bulgaria, came. He said about the trip to Bulgaria and related issues and the ceremonies and rituals of the trip. Mr. [Abdul Hossein] Wahaji [head of the Ministry of Commerce] came. He complained about the action of the prime minister in dismissing him and gave an explanation. They talked about trade policy and fighting inflation.

Mr. [Mohsen] Rezaei [commander-in-chief of the IRGC] and [Ali] Shamkhani came. They talked about the measures taken after the merger of the IRGC and Ministry of Defense, as well as the IRGC budget and its final form, and precautionary measures on the fronts. I worked in my office until nine o'clock at night and came home.
