Iraq has limited the activities of hypocrites and Saddam has talked about the benefits of peace. The election of Mr. Khamenei and the prediction of my election to the presidency are interpreted as proof of the rule of the logic of moderation.

Dr. [Ali Akbar] Velayati [Minister of Foreign Affairs] and [Mahmoud] Vaezi [Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs] came. The trip to the Soviet Union and related issues were discussed. They said the same thing, in addition to the fact that if it is not possible, we can introduce Mr. [Mohammed Ali] Araki as a reference, who consider the survival of impersonation of the dead permissible even in matters that have not been acted upon.

Mr. Mahdavi Kenny came and told the leadership to telegraph to Mr. Golpaygani, thanking him for attending the prayer for the imam and expressing his condolences, and Mr. Golpaygani should approve the leadership in response. I said that the text of Ayatollah Golpayegani's answer should be determined first, then Mr. Khamenei's telegram should be sent.
