Hypothermia is always one of the reasons for the decrease in blood donation visits. These days, the cold has been associated with air pollution, which has led to a sharp decrease in visits to donate blood.
Currently, about 1,000 units of blood are donated daily at blood transfusion centers in the province, while 1,600 units of blood are distributed in medical centers.
