They received a magnificent welcome. [Mr. Gholamreza Ansari], the governor [of Mazandaran] and [Sardar Bahram Saadati], the commander [of the] resistance [provincial Basij] said Khair Moghaddam. I gave an extended speech about the honors of Mazandaran and the self-sacrificing forces and the strength of the system.
We went to Khazarabad to rest and stayed at the beach resort of the Army Ground Forces. Mehdi and Mozafar were also with me. On the beach, tea was served in the presence of his companions, the governor, Imam Jumeh and some of the governors of the province. We were there at night.
I saw the news on the computer. Rumors have created the possibility of Iran's case going to the [UN] Security Council due to human rights issues. The visit of [Mohammed] ElBaradei [the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency] to Iran and the negotiation of the [additional] protocol and the resolution has a wide impact.
China has launched a man-carrying spaceship and it is supposed to return to earth after 24 hours. It has become the third country that has the power to build a spacecraft that carries humans. America is very angry and reacts negatively.
The clashes in Karbala and Najaf and accusing Moqtada Sadr of the conflict are of interest. Mr. [Mohammad Taqi] Madrasi in Karbala said that Mr. Sadr is responsible for the conflicts.
The United States has vetoed the Arab proposal [in the UN Security Council] to condemn Israel for building a security wall. The American resolution on Iraq was approved; Although Russia, Germany and France have said that they will not provide military and monetary assistance to America in Iraq. In England, public prostitution is prohibited in public places. A group of priests have announced that they go to crime-prone places at night to counsel offenders.
