Who is entitled to the base annuity and who is entitled to it?

Question 1: Who is eligible for the seniority base wage, and who does it apply to?
Answer: The seniority base wage applies to all workers covered by labor law who have been employed for one year or more.

Question 2: If an insured worker’s working days in a month are less than a full working period, how is the seniority base wage calculated?
Answer: According to the attached table of Circular No. 276716 dated 19/03/2024 (Persian Calendar: 29/12/1402) issued by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, the daily amount of the seniority base wage is specified. Employers are required to record and pay it based on the number of working days for each employee in the workplace.

Question 3: If an insured worker leaves one workplace and starts working in another, should the previous workplace's records be considered in determining the seniority base wage?

Answer: No. Only workplaces covered by labor law are required to include the seniority base wage in their payroll lists.
