A number of Iranian compatriots residing in the country informed Abdi Media that user accounts on Twitter, even with the official blue checkmark—which of course is granted through email and phone verification—have been or could be created in their name and identity, and the content on these accounts could have legal consequences for them "if they are not notified in time and do not inform the responsible authorities."
In such cases, the victim of identity forgery should report the matter to X support and request investigation.
But the problem is exactly here.
X network does not accept official Iranian government documents for identity verification in the document upload section and states that it is unable to verify them!
