Ayatollah Mesbah said that the Imam of the Time had come to someone in a dream and determined that our president was "Ahmadinejad"

Ayatollah Mesbah was a philosopher and had a philosophical outlook. But towards the end of their lives, they had tendencies towards Ahl al-Bayt or traditional discussions.

They were not against philosophy and mysticism, but on the other hand, Ayatollah Mesbah held the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.), hadiths, and news to a high degree, and in political and social issues and elections, he said that recourse to the people's votes had no basis or that the people's vote was not worthless. Velayat-e Faqih is an appointed position and not an elected and attribution by the Imam of the time.

He went so far as to say that during the time of Mr. Ahmadinejad, the Imam of the Time had come to someone in a dream and determined that our president was Mr. Ahmadinejad.

I was in a meeting where Ayatollah Mesbah said this and I heard him say that they were quoting from a dream of a faithful person that the president is Mr. Ahmadinejad. We saw what happened in the end.

Mr. Ahmadinejad spoke as if he had a direct connection with the Imam of the Time. Personally, I listened to one of his speeches, which I thought was on February 11, or Quds Day, and was broadcast live on the radio. I saw Mr. Ahmadinejad say at the end of his speech that he would like to thank the police forces, the governor, and the mayor. I also thank the Imam of the time. It seems that his relationship with the Imam of the Time is the same as his relationship with the governor, the mayor, and other officials.

Ahmadinejad was somehow attributed to the thoughts of the Hojjatiyeh Association, and they made a clip in Qom in which they brought the hadiths of the end of time and said that Mr. Ahmadinejad is the same Shoaib ibn Saleh who appears in the hadiths before the advent of the Imam of Time. They had also made films and distributed them. In this way, Mr. Ahmadinejad was also introduced as a person connected to the Imam of the Time in our society.

I did not see an organic and official connection between Mr. Ahmadinejad or Mr. Mashaei with the Hojjatieh Association. Unless these connections were established in the same way as intellectual empathy and intellectual alignment. I said that Mr. Mashaei had claims that he was related to the Imam of the Time and that he would get into ecstasy and close his eyes or faint and say that now my relationship with the Imam of the Time has been established and it became clear that all of them were lies.
