Hadi Sharifzadeh, Yaser Inaloo, and Mohammad Hadi Jafarpour, three attorneys at law in Fars Province, filed a complaint against natural and legal members of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace on the subject of obstructing the right to registration.

This complaint, based on the Ninth Principle of the Constitution and the regulations governing the fundamental rights of the Iranian people, including Article 2 and 22 of the Law on Publication and Free Access to Information, the Law on the Duties of the Ministry of Communications, and international conventions to which the Islamic Republic of Iran is a party and the Leader's views on the philosophy of the establishment of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, is written.

These three attorneys at law, as plaintiffs, have filed a complaint against 16 natural and legal members of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, whose names have been published as opponents of lifting filtering in the media. Given the presence of these 16 individuals in Tehran, the complaint registered in Shiraz will be sent to the Tehran prosecutor.

The plaintiffs, citing Article 570 of the Islamic Penal Code, demand the criminal prosecution of these 16 members of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace for "obstructing the right of access to the appropriate cyber space and creating obstacles in the exercise of this legal right."

According to Article 570 of the Islamic Penal Code, "Any official or agent associated with government institutions and bodies who, contrary to the law, deprives the personal freedom of the people or deprives them of the rights prescribed in the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in addition to dismissal and deprivation of one to five years from government positions, will be sentenced to imprisonment from two months to three years."
