Judiciary Spokesperson: On May 6 of this year, the Guardian Council filed a complaint with the Court of Administrative Justice regarding the religious aspect of the regulation in question, stating that the application of the Monetary and Credit Council's decision of 2018 to cases in which deposit contracts have already been concluded in accordance with Sharia regulations and the bank has not been given a valid authority to change the terms of deposits by individuals and is contrary to the principles of Sharia.

In the implementation of the law, which the Court of Justice was obliged to enforce this law, the General Board of the Court of Administrative Justice was required to follow the opinion of the jurists of the Guardian Council regarding the religious aspect of the executive regulations, the application of the complained resolution to the extent prescribed in the aforementioned theory was considered contrary to the Shari'a and its nullity was declared from the date of its ratification.
