بر اساس رای جدید وحدت رویه که در حکم قانون است، قضات بر خلاف نظر هیات منصفه میتوانند متهم را محکوم کنند

The ruling on uniformity apparently contradicts the explicit provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code regarding the rejection of judges by the public assembly of the Supreme Court, and prior to that, the necessity of obtaining the opinion of the judicial board of the court branch for halting the execution of capital punishment, contrary to the explicit text of the note under Article 468 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Do you remember my previous note about how Mohseni Ejei will operationalize his measures and opinions more through the public assembly of the Supreme Court?

Now, please pay attention to the ruling on uniformity issued today by the Supreme Court, which is binding for all branches of the court and has the force of law.

It seems to be based on all judicial procedures and regulations.

Previously, if the jury acquitted the defendant, the judges were obligated to acquit them as well. However, from now on, judges can convict the defendant contrary to the opinion of the jury.

You will see more of these rulings in the future.
