Mr. [Mahmoud] Mohammadi Iraqi, the Imam's representative in the Corps, came. To resign due to the disregard of the IRGC commanders, he consulted on their rights. I didn't agree and said that they get additional powers under the title of war necessities and these will be fixed after the war.
Mr. Esfandiari, a member of the Islamic Republic Party, came to Isfahan. He talked about the military industries and political issues of Isfahan and complained about Mr. Taheri in Isfahan.
Dr. Jazayeri came. He spoke about the needs of the Ministry of Health and complained about Mr. [Fakhreddin] Hijazi, the representative of Tehran. In the afternoon, Efat and Mrs. Motahari came. They had gone to the families of the warriors to rebel.
In the evening, the managers of National Bank came. They gave a report on new programs and I spoke to them about moving the bank's facilities towards serving the deprived areas and recommending important projects of the country. The commanders of Imam Muhammad Baqir's brigade came. They gave a report on the situation of the brigade. It has three battalions of clerical forces, which usually provide between one and three clerical personnel as a combat force to each IRGC operational battalion. They consulted about the future policy and plan of the brigade and asked for help.
In the evening, the first session of the Assembly for the Recognition of Matters for Government Decrees was held in Mr. Khamenei's office. There were six jurists of the Guardian Council and Mr. Khamenei, Mousavi Ardabili, [Mir Hossein Mousavi [Prime Minister, Mousavi Khoiniha] Attorney General of the country[, Tusli] Head of the Imam's Office], myself and Ahmad Agha. We talked more about the work regulations and almost all the necessary matters were decided. Ayatollah Khamenei was elected president and I was elected vice president. We made good progress and the discussions proceeded with understanding and friendship. It was decided to have one meeting a week. We had dinner there and I reached home late.
