Somayeh Baghi, Rokna reporter:

The price of dairy products in the country has been continuously rising these days, a trend that has led many households to remove dairy from their food baskets or reduce their consumption to a minimum.

Field investigations show that the prices of dairy products from most companies increase roughly every 10 to 15 days. According to some sellers, due to decreased demand, they have reduced their orders, and some products are even returned to the companies because there are no buyers.

Meanwhile, some factories, in order to retain customers, have resorted to downsizing packaging. For example, one dairy brand has released a 150-gram single-serving yogurt for 25,200 tomans. This clearly indicates the decreasing purchasing power of the people.
