️Attention, gentlemen:

️Mohammad Kazemi Fard, Head of the Center for Statistics and Information Technology of the Judiciary
Greetings
️Preventing and combating money laundering and other related forms of corruption, which do not need to be explained publicly in greater detail, necessitates an immediate sovereign decision regarding the continued operation of SIM cards registered in the names of prisoners for as long as they remain in prison.
️Since today a SIM card is no longer merely a simple communication tool and serves as a gateway to various communication networks or government portals, including judicial and financial ones, it is necessary for these types of SIM cards, like those belonging to deceased individuals, to be subject to monitoring, oversight, and appropriate preventive measures and anti-corruption action, including against money laundering.
️Just as special measures were adopted regarding the manner in which lawyers obtain powers of attorney for Iranians residing abroad through channels other than the International Sana system and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Mikhak system, a process that involved deception in the granting of powers of attorney, and regarding the prevention of company formation and changes at the General Directorate for Company Registration, which were uncovered and carried out thanks to the Judiciary's investigations and handling of the complex case involving the Zaviyeh Financial Group, particularly by the special investigating magistrate handling international affairs cases, the Financial Intelligence Center, and the Prosecutor General's Office.
️The Judiciary's Information Technology Center has the names and identities of all prisoners in its internal network from the moment they enter until they leave, and it can now easily extract any judicial notification concerning prisoners electronically and automatically deliver it to the prison, in addition to notifying the prisoner through their Sana user account, thereby paving the way for immediate action.
️Furthermore, the executive regulations governing prisons have also defined and specified that any type of transaction, conclusion of contracts, and registration-related matters concerning prisoners require, as applicable, the approval of the judicial authority overseeing the case while the individual is an accused, and, after conviction, the approval of the prosecutor or the prison supervisor/enforcement of judgments authority.
️It remains to be seen what preventive measure the Supreme Council for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, in cooperation with the Prosecutor General, will adopt regarding this widespread and pressing issue؟
