In Pakistan, a US drone was shot down and the Jhangvi group claimed responsibility for the Pakistani bombings. It was announced that the Iraqi people had voted 100 percent for Saddam in a referendum for another seven years. The US and Britain do not accept this.

In the Philippines, two bombs killed five and injured 144. In Palestine, Israeli killings continue. Israel calls Bush the best supporter of Israel in American history. The United States announces that North Korea has admitted to a secret program to develop nuclear weapons. Anti-globalization protesters in Italy and 20 other countries have called for the closure of American McDonald's restaurants.
