[Mr. Kazroni, Karbaschi and Zavarei], the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, the Mayor of Tehran and the head of the Real Estate Registration Organization came. The construction projects that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has arranged for the city of Tehran by my order, in order to break the housing crisis, were examined. It was decided that the Real Estate and Deeds Registration Organization and Tehran Municipality would cooperate to provide and supply around 20,000 low-cost housing units annually, and the government would pay for the construction materials.

[Mr. Gholamreza Aghazadeh], the oil minister came. He gave the sales report and plans and asked for more currency and the cooperation of the central bank. We are going to extract and store 500,000 barrels of extra oil per day to sell when a possible crisis occurs.

Mr. [Masoud Roghani] Zanjani, [Vice President and Head of Program and Budget Organization] and advisers came. They brought a plan about monitoring the implementation of the program and also explained the result of solving the problem of handing over government factories to the private sector. They insist on doing it.

In the afternoon, I went to the dentist to fix my teeth. The doctor is unqualified; It does not work well. The Iraqi delegation headed by Mr. Tariq Aziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived in Tehran around noon. There was inconsistency at Mehrabad airport. They have been taken to the Ministry of Oil Club for safety reasons; Because there is a possibility that some of the Hezbollah forces will be martyred.

In the evening, the government board had a meeting. At night I was a guest of Ayatollah Khamenei. Mr. Velayati and Mr. Aghazadeh, [ministers of foreign affairs and oil], gave a report on the negotiations with the Iraqis by phone. They said that they should be careful not to raise matters that might cause our opposition; They walk with crutches and mostly rely on strengthening relations and peace and only offer to sell us additional oil products.

Discussions were held with the leadership about the issues of the region, Iraq, America, and the Arabs, as well as about sending women to shooting competitions in China and Mr. Hafez Assad's [Syrian President] trip to Iran. I returned to my office.
