Iraq was decided. In the evening, Dr. [Mohsen] Nurbakhsh, [Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance] and Dr. Rouhani, [Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council] came for current affairs and Iraqi issues and industry issues.

The Supreme National Security Council had a meeting. A decision was made regarding the issues related to the trip of the Iraqi delegation that will come to Iran tomorrow. The president of Syria, who was supposed to come to Tehran on September 24, has informed that he will delay his trip by a week due to the Iraqi delegation's visit.

We went to Azarab factory. The CEO gave a report and explanation. We visited the halls for two hours; Important and sensitive machines and its huge hall are remarkable. They have the power to build high-level and large boilers, but they are unhappy in referring the work to them. The construction of the power plant is usually left to foreigners and they order part of the work to Azarab; An effort has been started to strengthen internal construction.

After lunch and prayer, Imam Juma's son came and criticized the governor. We went to Saveh Dam by helicopter. They are pouring concrete for the dam. Explanations were given and we visited the dam site; A group of people from Saveh also came. I did a radio and television interview. My ears are disturbed by the sound of the helicopter.

We flew to Tehran at six in the afternoon. Maghrib, we landed at Mehrabad airport. I went to my office and read the reports.
