Mr. [Mohammedreza] Rahimi, the former governor of Kurdistan, came.  He insisted a lot, for the necessity of accepting participation in the upcoming presidential elections, which I did not accept, and he said about corruption in the judiciary;  including the case of lands in the north and around Evin prison.

In the evening, Mr. [Gholamreza] Aghazadeh, [head of the Atomic Energy Organization] came and gave a report on the deliberations of the Board of Governors of the [International] Atomic Energy Agency and the discussions he had in response to their questions about Iran's nuclear policy and said that almost all European countries, Russia, America, etc. express concern.  He predicts that after the meeting of the Council of Governors next month, if we do not accept [Additional Protocol] 93+2, the possibility of referring the case to the [UN] Security Council is high. He gave a report on the progress of the Natanz, Isfahan and Arak sites and said that with the arrival of the agency experts to Natanz, we have made good technical use of them.
Mr. [Sidreza] Neiri, the head of the Imam Relief Committee, informed by phone that he went to the site of Sedkarkheh and was deeply affected by this great service and said that the people of the region are deeply grateful.
