[Mr. Riccardo Ceza], the Italian ambassador came to say goodbye. He said that because of Italy's rotating presidency of the European Union, he has been made the director general of the Middle East to help the crisis areas, and regarding the roadmap plan, all countries are united and Israel and the Palestinians have accepted it, and in the meantime, Iran's opposition can disrupt the work.  He asked for Iran's assistance.  I said, in the plan, the rights of Palestinians are not considered;  Including the issue of refugees and this itself causes the failure of the project.
He said, regarding the issue of nuclear energy, the whole world agrees that Iran should accept the 93+2 additional [protocol]. I said, it is conditional on the implementation of Iran's rights, which are the responsibility of others. He said, we guarantee that Iran will be helped regarding nuclear technology in peaceful affairs.  He also had questions about Iran's internal situation.
Mr. [Ali] Abdullahian came.  He was saddened by the defeat in the Chamber of Commerce elections and offered to accept my participation in the presidential elections, but he received the usual rejection.  Mr. [Abd al-Majid] Maadikhah, [head of the Revolutionary History Foundation] came.  They talked about the theses of Islamic Azad University students in connection with the history of the revolution, as well as the building of the Tarikh Foundation, as well as internal disputes. He said that Mr. Karbaschi's father's will was that Ayatollah Montazeri pray over his body and bury him in a place such as Imamzadeh Jaafar or Haj Sheikh Cemetery, and for this reason, the shrine administration prevented him from being buried in the shrine.  Mr. Masoudi [Khomeini, guardian of the shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH)] had already said the same thing in response to the protestors.
Mr. [Hossein] Mousaviyan came in the evening.  He talked about the danger of America and proposed to negotiate with America to eliminate the danger.  In the Group of Eight conference, they asked Iran to sign the additional [protocol] of 1993+2.  Officials from Russia have also said that they will deliver fuel to Bushehr power plant subject to its signature!! 
In Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, there was a meeting of four Arab countries and [George] Bush, [President of the United States of America] and they made a joint decision about the road map.  A group of Egyptians protested against America and the Arab compromise in Egypt.  The Hamas movement has also condemned this plan and compromise of the Arabs.
In Iraq, two American soldiers were killed in an assassination attempt.  In the city of Ramadiya, the attackers shot people who participated in the anti-occupation demonstration.  They injured a group and killed two people.  Two Americans were wounded and one soldier was killed in the crossfire.  In the city of Tal Afar in northern Iraq, the Americans arrested a group of members of the Supreme Assembly.  In Arvandroud, Iranian forces seized two American boats that had trespassed in Iranian waters and released their occupants after interrogation.
