After breakfast, I went to Hosseinieh Jamaran. Imam [on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr] had a short and good conversation. I returned home. The son of Martyr Fayaz Bakhsh, his mother and sisters, and Mrs. Monireh, came. From Ms. Gurji, I got information about the community of Al-Zahra (pbuh). Relatives came.

After consulting with the president and the prime minister, it was decided to announce the Beit al-Maqdis 6 operation. In the afternoon, Efat, Fati, and Faiza were the guests of Imam's wife, and me, Mehdi, Yaser, and Saeed were at home.

In the evening, I watched a movie and read the reports that were brought from the parliament. In the evening, I went to Ayatollah Khamenei's office to discuss the issues of Hezbollah and Amal in Lebanon. The heads of the three branches, the prime minister, the foreign minister, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi from Lebanon, [Hossein [Sheikh al-Islam] and] Seyed Ali Asghar [Hijazi from] the Ministry of Intelligence and Mehdinejad from the IRGC were also there. Seyyed Abbas talked about the situation in Lebanon and claims that the conspiracy of all around, including Syria, is to pacify southern Lebanon and secure the northern border of Israel, and for this purpose they want to remove Hezbollah from the south and then from Beirut, and he asked for our opinion.

After a long discussion, we drew up a practical plan to deal with the current situation and told them that its principles are to prevent a civil war between Shiites and avoid conflict with Syria and the necessity of keeping Hezbollah in the south and Beirut. I returned home late and had dinner and slept around twelve o'clock at night.
