Full text of the diary:

Mr. [Gholamreza] Bagheri [Moghaddam], the new Iranian ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, came for consultations. He criticized the weakness of the Foreign Ministry's actions in relation to Central Asian countries, saying, "We are not aware of the warm and active atmosphere that existed during your presidency, and with the arrival of the United States under the pretext of Afghanistan, it has become more difficult to work in the region."

Messrs. [Seyyed Mahmoud] Alavi Lamerdi and Colonel [Abbas] Vaezi came from the Army's political ideological [organization]. Reporting on their new efforts, they asked me to open the conference honoring the soldier, and they talked about the damages caused by the law on the purchase of soldiers' service and the negative impact on the morale of the poor soldiers.

Mr. [Mohammadreza] Sadiq, one of his colleagues in the Expediency Council and the Supreme National Security Council, said that he was responsible for setting up new news on security issues in the Supreme National Security Council, and that on the issue of Afghanistan, the U.S. policy was moving forward in appointing a Western-leaning government, and probably in the next stage, Zahir Shah would be brought in, and our Foreign Ministry is now convinced that Zahir Shah has not returned at this stage.

In the evening, I had a long interview with the Headquarters of the Conference on the Pathology of Religious Government [Messrs. Abolghasemi, Saneipour, Morshed, Masoumi, Khoshchehreh, Nazarzadeh, and Mousavi].I talked about the inseparability of religion and politics and the necessity of change in the seminary, in order to make the seminaries and the teachings of the seminaries and the complete Islamization of the government. They said it was a turning point in their two-year research.

Today, a ship chartered by Iran that was carrying chemicals from Saudi Arabia to Abadan was attacked and inspected by American forces in the Persian Gulf, and two of the ship's crew were injured, and Iran summoned the Swiss ambassador to protest against this action of the United States.

Yesterday, at the funeral ceremony of Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Shirazi, who passed away yesterday, there was a dispute between the officials and the relatives of the deceased, who wanted to bury the body in the house of the deceased to be taken to Karbala later, but the officials took the body to the shrine and buried it. This incident has been widely reported in the foreign media. The deceased had a disagreement with the regime.
