I reached my office around eight o'clock. I did things until nine in the morning and then had meetings until noon. [Mr. Jassem Jaderi], the representative of Sosangerd, came. He is worried about the Jihad plan for the revival of North Abadan and Khorramshahr, that non-Arab forces will go to the region.

Mr. [Rasul] Sadiqi, the representative of [Banab and] Malikan, came. He complained about the actions of [Mr. Akbar Parhizkar], the governor of East Azerbaijan, and gave a report on the progress of laser research. Mr. [Mohammed Jaafar] Saidian Far, Khomeini's representative came to [Isfahan]. He asked for the development of the region and talked about giving more square to Ayatollah Montazeri.

Mr. Seyed Ahmed Mousavi, [Iranian ambassador in Beirut] came. He had questions about Lebanon's affairs and raised suspicions about the performance of some people in the Ministry of Intelligence. Mr. [Ahmed] Wahidi, [commander of the Quds Force], came from the IRGC. He had questions about politics in Lebanon.

In the evening, the Supreme Economic Council had a meeting. A decision was made regarding the price of iron, steel, chicken and the promotion of animal husbandry. Council members were my guests at Iftar. After breaking the fast and praying, a meeting of the International Law Council was held. In this meeting, we approved the compromise proposed by the Ministry of Oil with Amaco and Hasem Ko companies. I did the current work and came home. The children had gone to the revival ceremony.
