Mr. [Masoud Roghani] Zanjani, [Head of the Program and Budget Organization] came and explained about the performance of the program and budget and the quality of issuing agreements and monitoring projects. I emphasized on the speed of action and elimination of bureaucracy. Mr. [Gholamreza] Aghazadeh, [Oil Minister] and Mr. [Hussein] Kazempour [Ardebili] came and explained about the preparations for reconciliation with the oil companies, about their claims that they were dispossessed after the revolution and filed a lawsuit in the [International Court of Arbitration] in The Hague. It was decided to form the Supreme Economic Council to investigate; They are in a hurry to determine the assignment as soon as possible.

In the evening, in the meeting of the government board, the physical balance of the machines needed for the [first five-year] program was examined. Quran reciters came and performed a program; I spoke to them. The prayer was read to the congregation. They were my guest iftar. After breaking the fast, we had a meeting with the leadership; We negotiated and made decisions about oil, Syria, Mosli, the women's community [Islamic Republic], Tahakim Vahdat Office, the Assembly of Experts, foreign policy, leadership representatives in the university, the Assembly and several other issues. I arrived home at half past ten.
