Full Text of the Daily Entry:

I went to the university [in Tehran] to lead Friday prayers. I delivered a sermon about patience and another sermon regarding the events of the week. I called on the judiciary to reciprocate against the actions of the U.S. courts, which issue rulings against other countries, especially since there are significant accusations against the U.S. regarding the downing of Iran's Airbus, the freezing of Iran's assets, and the disappearance of Iranian diplomats in Lebanon.

In the afternoon, Dr. [Seyyed Mahmoud] Tabatabai came. We discussed the Foundation for Special Diseases and the state of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, as well as my blood sugar level.

The U.S. spy plane, which had made an emergency landing in southern China some time ago, was transported to the U.S. by a Russian cargo plane. The U.S. wanted to repair the plane in China and fly it; however, China refused.

During [Ariel] Sharon’s visit, [the Prime Minister of Israel] to France, there were large protests against him, and he announced that he had gained nothing from his talks with European leaders. In Indonesia, Mr. [Abdurrahman] Wahid, [the President], threatened to dissolve the parliament if it insisted on impeachment. In Macedonia, despite the announcement of a ceasefire, clashes continue. Today, in Southeast Asia, floods and storms have affected several countries, causing significant damage in Turkey as well.
