Abdollah Ganji, one of the media activists of the fundamentalist movement, while defending "purification in the level and radius of the Islamic Republic system regardless of gangs and tastes", has considered the country's secular population to be completely excluded from any political participation in the country.

In response to him, we can say; If Iran is a nation-state, it should recognize the equal rights of each citizen and not deprive anyone of the right of citizenship, the most prominent of which is the right to political participation and representation on behalf of the people. But if Iran is the personal property of a certain religious community, then it is what he said!

According to Mr. Ganji, the Shah had the right to exclude political and religious people from participating in power. Also, according to his logic, all the secular governments of the world can completely and forever prohibit and deprive the religious stratum of their society from participation in political affairs and the right to represent the people, to enter parliament and government, etc. And at the same time, keep the name "democracy" for themselves!
