The war that has erupted between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip cannot be stopped. Israel will not agree to a genuine ceasefire as long as there is any existence of Hamas left in this territory. Therefore, there are only two paths ahead for the opposing parties to continue this war.

The first option is to open a new front or fronts against Israel to reduce its pressure on Hamas forces in the Gaza Strip. However, this option would spiral the situation out of control and ignite an unprecedented widespread war in the region, a conflict whose ultimate consequences only God knows, but it is clear to us that it would result in millions of casualties and endless destruction.

The second option is to engage in a form of diplomacy to end the war and reduce human and material losses in the Gaza Strip. This type of diplomacy would have a chance of success if it aimed at convincing Hamas to hand over the Gaza Strip to an international force or a self-governing authority and to withdraw from this area. Yes, I understand that this is very bitter and unpleasant for Hamas supporters, but that is the reality, and I am not to blame!
