Isn't it strange and unusual?

Israel has typically maintained a policy of "military censorship" in every war and military conflict, preventing domestic media from reporting on the targets hit and casualties suffered by its military and civilians. In every war and military operation, only the army spokesperson had the right to provide information, and even then, this information was very limited and managed, particularly avoiding the precise disclosure of human casualties.

However, during the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, this approach has completely reversed. Media outlets have taken the lead in publishing shocking scenes of bodies left in the streets and announcing the human and material casualties of the war, while political officials continuously inflate the statistics regarding the number of Israeli dead, wounded, and captives.

This change in approach seems unusual to me and appears to be part of a specific military strategy and plan. Unlike in the past, Israel does not want to showcase the "authority and invincibility" claimed by some of its leaders; rather, it seeks to portray itself as a victim and oppressed while depicting Hamas as ruthless and akin to ISIS.

In other words, Israel's propaganda strategy regarding the Al-Aqsa Flood operation is to introduce the Hamas organization as the new ISIS, thereby legitimizing and justifying actions aimed at destroying and assassinating its leaders.

In this propaganda campaign, Israel has thus far been successful, as supporters and opponents of Hamas, each with different motivations, have helped viralize scenes of the violent operations, aiding Israel's objectives.

This situation is such that I have even started to doubt the element of surprise in the operation! Everything seems strange and unusual.
