The source claimed: The information we have received from the Russians shows that when Bashar al-Assad's plane took off from Damascus airport, Israeli planes were flying over the Syrian capital and other areas of the country.
The source also said: "What has been confirmed to us so far is that Bashar al-Assad was killed because Israel targeted his plane.
