Following yesterday's attack, rumors circulated that "Brigadier General Saeed Izadi," a highly influential but lesser-known commander with a background in the IRGC's operations in Lebanon and Syria, was among the victims. However, investigations and a statement from the IRGC clarified that this news was incorrect, and it appears he did not attend the meeting in question.

What astonished me as a journalist was the immediate dissemination of a vast amount of old and new photographs, information, and connections related to him shortly after this news broke in domestic media.

What is the source of this immediate release of classified information, which was subsequently denied?

Furthermore, just before the official statement from the IRGC was released, a significant volume of data emerged concerning various individuals, including statements from "Mahmoud Karimi" about the presence of "Brigadier General Zahedi" the night before at the Razavi Shrine.

From Mahmoud Karimi to other well-known and lesser-known individuals, there has been a trend of publishing images and information for unknown reasons, often for the sake of showing off and highlighting their close connections with IRGC commanders.

If we aggregate this flood of data released in quick succession, a question arises:

Is the country not facing a plethora of information gaps and breaches?

Are the security and intelligence institutions, especially the #Intelligence_Protection bodies within the Islamic Republic, taken seriously?
