تخفیف جمهور توسط رییس جمهور / این چه قانونیست که نمیشود تغییر کند؟

Abdollah Abdi - Abdi Media

The most important point in Ebrahim Raisi's speech last night was when he stated that the law will not change and described the mandatory hijab law as a value for a diverse society.

This statement by Ebrahim Raisi, as president, once again disregards the role of the people in determining their own destiny, as outlined in the current constitution, and violates the clear commitments and statements made by Ayatollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic.

Doesn’t the Islamic Consultative Assembly review, amend, and change laws? How can the head of the executive branch deny or prohibit the inherent responsibilities of the legislative branch?

As the head of the government of the Islamic Republic, which enforces changeable laws, while other religious rulings are subject to time and place and are changeable, how can he declare a law to be unchangeable and permanent?

Under what law and what authority does the president have this power? While the president’s powers and role are similar to that of a prime minister, it should be noted that such statements that disregard the will of the people and their right to determine their fate and lives are simply a manifestation of dictatorial decision-making.
