The strange case of Sheikh Mohammad Emami Kashani

Sheikh Mohammad Emami Kashani, one of the former jurisprudents of the Guardian Council, a representative of the Assembly of Experts on Leadership and Management of the Higher School and Shahid Motahari University, which is the same university where Ayatollah Dr. Ebrahim Raisi received his doctorate, registered for the upcoming term of this assembly.
Suddenly, the news came that the Sheikh, despite all his experience and records, was not on the final list of experts, and there were unreliable rumors that even with all his senior experience, he was caught under the supervision of the current jurists of the Guardian Council.

Despite all the above mentioned, today the spokesman of the Guardian Council reports that there was no point regarding his qualification and it seems that he announced his withdrawal based on his physical condition and that his opinion was that younger people should be given a chance.

Question:

How can it be believed and accepted that Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Emami Kashani, with so much history and experience in various responsibilities, was not familiar with the dimensions, surroundings and nuances of this election before registering, and after registering, he remembered to give the opportunity to the younger ones?

Is it more difficult to participate in the annual meetings of this parliament or the current executive work of Shahid Motahari University and....?

Were there hints and perhaps agreements to the great and experienced sheikh to withdraw?
