In social media, various political figures and analysts have criticized the contradictory statements from Islamic Republic officials, particularly Mohsen Mansouri, the Deputy Foreign Minister, and the commander of the IRGC in East Azerbaijan.

Without defending these individuals, as a media activist who has been closely following and reporting on this news since yesterday, I must say that, despite the confirmed passing of Ebrahim Raisi and his associates and the complete freedom to publish this news, I opted to release it publicly, albeit cautiously, due to broader considerations. To my knowledge, these individuals were merely inexperienced operatives executing specific security orders.

Particularly evident was Mohsen Mansouri's disheveled and tearful demeanor at the very moment he claimed to be hopeful about delivering good news regarding finding Ebrahim Raisi, which clearly indicated what was happening.

What often goes unnoticed, or is overlooked, is that, given the specific conditions of the Islamic Republic and the need for intelligence, security, and military coordination—as well as readiness for burial and ensuring complete oversight—the definitive news was deferred until morning. However, there was a lack of coherent management and coordination among the inexperienced and uninformed executors.

There were signals from the evening for senior political activists on both the left and right to tweet and react politically to this situation, pray for Ebrahim Raisi's safety, and then coordinate for internal unity (though, naturally, Iranian culture tends to respond this way to anyone's passing). This was followed by indications to influential virtual activists and preparations by state media in this regard.

Of course, I emphasize that no other assumptions or possibilities can be dismissed, and we will need more precise and updated information for deeper analyses. However, at the level of speculation, any potential scenario can be considered.
