Do you remember Akbar Tabari’s famous statements in court?

He claimed to have friends who could even provide deeds for all of Lavasan and transfer them into his name.

It turns out he was telling the truth.

Recall my notes on Akbar Tabari and his release from the case involving a 300 billion toman bail, and the hasty denial by Mehdi Keshdar, the CEO of the Mizan News Agency, and the documents published by Abdi Media?

Do you remember the hasty and ill-considered denials by the former prisoner, Ms. Hengameh Shahidi, and the strange like by the CEO of Mizan News Agency under her tweet?

Ms. Shahidi recently announced that she is ill, and I wished her a swift recovery because it was difficult for her to prepare for Nowruz and, according to her public written promise, to stage a sit-in in front of the Judiciary building.

Indeed, according to the documents I published, on March 20, 2023, Akbar Tabari's sentence period ends, and he is officially free.

Tabari had deposited the 500 million toman bail claimed by the accurate and meticulous CEO of Mizan News Agency, which was for a different case, during those days, and his release from that case was communicated to Evin Prison.

It truly seemed like a joke for someone to arrange 300 billion tomans in bail and then be left waiting for a 500 million toman bail.

After depositing the bail, Tabari went on leave, and he has been on leave for a few days now.

The CEO of Mizan News Agency has one way forward: to verify whether Tabari’s leave was extended by the court after March 8, 2023.

If it was extended, the matter is resolved; if not, and if he is in violation of his leave, which is unlikely for Tabari to have made such a significant mistake, the court should address it and allow him to serve the remaining 10-12 days of his sentence and then conclude the matter.

Thus, a chapter of uproar for nothing ends, leading to another season of displays by the officials.
